You can only use your Hammer to break them. The second challenge room requires you to break a series of blocks in 50 seconds. Repeatedly press A to jump and hit it six times for it to break. The final set is one massive block in the center of the room. In the second set of blocks, the ones on the ends, each requires three hits to break. You can save some time on the blocks in the back, which are doubled-up, by jumping on the center of the blocks to destroy two both with one jump. Only one jump is required to destroy each block in the first set of blocks. The first challenge room requires you to jump to break a series of blocks in 30 seconds. Walk inside and interact with the Toad statue to activate the portal and begin the trial.

To access the temple, stand on the Magic Circle and use the Earth Vellumental. The Trial of Power is located inside the red temple on the left side of the island. To view our Ice Vellumental Mountain walkthrough, click here.The Ice Vellumental Mountain can be reached by destroying the two large snow blocks on the path to the left of the Power Trial. To access the other two trials, you must first obtain the Ice Vellumental ability. At first, the only trial available to use is the Trial of Power. Once you complete a trial and obtain its orb, you’ll be unable to enter that temple again.

If you fail a trial multiple times, you’ll be given the option to make it slightly easier by paying 3,000 coins. If you fail a challenge, you fail the entire trial and need to try again. Each trial is composed of three challenge rooms that you must complete in a certain amount of time. You’ll receive an orb for each trial you complete. When you enter Diamond Island, you will be required to undergo the three trials of Power, Wisdom, and Courage (a not-so-subtle reference to the Triforce in the Legend of Zelda series).
